Symptoms of hepatitis A usually appear abruptly.
Typical hepatitis A symptoms include

- fever
- jaundice
- loss of appetite
- malaise
- nausea
Approximately one person in ten who is infected with the
hepatitis A virus will have symptoms over a six-to-nine month
period. The symptoms will sometimes come and go, or
