Prostate Cancer Symptoms
Unfortunately, prostate cancer is difficult to
detect in the early stages because symptoms don't usually
appear. But any of the following problems could be signs and
symptoms that prostate cancer is developing:
-
Feeling the need to urinate frequently, especially
at night
-
Difficulty starting urination or holding back urine
-
Weak or interrupted flow of urine
-
Pain or a burning sensation while urinating
-
Blood in urine or semen
-
Difficulty in achieving an erection
-
Painful ejaculation
-
Frequent pain or stiffness in the lower back, hips,
or upper thighs.
Any man experiencing any these symptoms should
see a doctor.
Additionally, any man 50 who hasn't had a recent prostate
cancer screening should get one, especially if there's a family
history of prostate cancer.
